What is Mind Body Transformational Psychology.

I have a degree in Mind Body Transformational Psychology, but most people don't really know what that is or what it really means so I am going to break it down for you here.

 

The mind body connection is a holistically based concept that takes into consideration not just the mental or physical aspects of a person, but looks at a person as a whole, which includes both body and mind, as well as emotional and spiritual aspects. So in reality the whole of a human being consists of four things, the physical (body), the mental (mind), the emotional (feelings), and the spiritual (higher power or higher self). 

 

Add to those things traditional psychology and transpersonal psychology and you get Mind Body Transformational Psychology. Most of you know what traditional psychology is, so I am not going to go in depth with that. However, transpersonal psychology consists of the traditional combined with spiritual and transcendent aspects of modern psychology. These are all ways to combine the four aspects of being human with psychology to understand the ways people think, feel, act, and believe. All of those things effect decisions people make and how they act on them, or not. Therefore, the whole premise of transformational psychology is for the purpose of transformation, or making real life changes. 

 

The most basic way to explain Mind Body Transformational Psychology is to say that it is a holistic approach to transformation, using the four aspects of being human, which are: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual, in order to achieve life changes and accomplish your goals.

 

Having a degree in this field makes me an expert on life changes and transformation from a holistic and spiritual stand point. My goal as a coach is to help others achieve their goals and make life changes that incorporates all these aspects as a whole. 

 

The best way to achieve optimum results is to look at your life from a holistic viewpoint and take stock of where you are now, and then figure out where it is you want to be. Then you will see what steps will need to be taken in order to make those changes possible. I am here to guide you through that process.
